Every figure below comes from our own attendance registers and from school-issued results. Where we fell short, we have said so.
2026 school year · computed from our own records and last updated 21 September 2026. These figures are published from a nightly snapshot rather than calculated as you load the page, so a register still being captured on a Saturday morning can never appear here as a drop.

Average mark improvement by subject
Comparing each learner’s first recorded school mark to their most recent one, for learners with more than one result on file. Only school-issued marks are counted — our own practice tests are not.
Where we fell short

Transport
Attendance drops whenever taxi fares increase. Transport subsidies are our single biggest funding gap, and it shows in the attendance figure above rather than being hidden in it.
Capacity
The Sebokeng Saturday session is full. We opened a parallel session in Bophelong, and we still have learners on a waiting list for mentors.

How we count what we count
Our method, in plain terms
Attendance
A learner is counted as attending if a staff member marked them present or late on a register for a session they were enrolled in. Every register entry records who captured it. An “excused” absence is still an absence in the figures.
Mark improvement
The difference between a learner’s first and most recent school-issued mark in a subject, in the same school year, for learners with more than one result on file. By term, not by best and worst — so a subject that has gone backwards shows a negative number. Our own practice tests are excluded so that we are not marking our own homework.
Tutoring hours
Attended sessions multiplied by each session’s own scheduled length, so a three-hour Saturday and a two-hour workshop are not counted as the same thing.
